The logic is sound, Robin still can't help but think that the plan is designed strictly to keep an eye on him more so than any concern about Cohen's abandon. Nodding tersely all the same, he replaces his tools into the utility belt and jumps through the hole, silent as the grave, waiting for his father to follow suit before he moves any further.
